James reformation

Hmm, you'd think that when a band dis-bands it'd be over and done with. Not so with our intrepid band James. They'd re-formed and are playing gigs in the UK. I will make an adendum (my word if the day) to the banner of my blog to cover this change in band status.

I was thinking about names for bands for no particular reason and this one came up. Maybe better as a album name, if one were into that kind of stuff.

I other news I'm set to join a multi-national conglomerate that will suck my soul. Our company was bought out. I am considering travel after my "transition contract" expires. I have the $$ to do this and there seems like no better time than now. I'll need to deal with the pesky business of planning my next moves in life. I am considering school or maybe a new job. I need to do something else. I don't like high tech. Bleeding edge blah blah. The working hours are extremely long and it's extremely fast paced. I think I've got other things I'd rather be doing. I really wish I'd followed my own interests in school.... sigh. After working for a start-up for so many years the prospect of big company politics and policies makes me want to scream. For all the dis-organization that comes from working at a small company it's still way more fun than working at a big company. For starters you have some time to work on your own stuff. Secondly there's good opportunities to work on stuff outside of your immediate responsibility center. Thirdly you get beer on Friday's.

I'm off to TO this week-end. I will spend some Q time with my parents and possibly my sister. Too little time, too much to do.
